  Question, what is the likelihood of you walking into a store that has a "CASH ONLY" sign on the window?
  Probably very unlikely.
  
  And so -
  
  As someone who has worked in the customer service industry for almost 10 years, I can't wrap my head around a grocery store supervisor saying to customers waiting to pay, "there's a bank across the street. Its cash only."
  
  Look, I understand things can go wrong. And technology can crash. I've been there..
  But your a multi-billion dollar company. And someone of "authority" actually suggested to leave the store? Do you see the problem with that?
  She might of well have said, "go shopping somewhere else, it's cash only."
  
  The lady infront of me was lucky enough her husband could go get cash for her. But I didn't. Nor did I have any intention of paying cash or debit. So the supervisor had NO solution for me or any other person who decided credit was the way to go for them.
  
  As a Front End Supervisor, one of your main job descriptions is to solve problems.
  
  And since this "supervisor" was unable to solve this problem, I took the "supervisors" advice and shopped elsewhere.

  Awesome market. Something equivalent in the Northwest would be Whole Foods. Very clean and many vegan options. We opted for sushi.

  Best grocery store ever!!! Prices are great and the store is always faced perfectly. Never thought I would ever miss a grocery store, but City Market was what I missed most when I moved away from North Van for a while. So happy to be back so I can do my daily shopping there.

  Great selection of hot meals ranging from soups and panini to various hot dinner platters. Also has a quaint patisserie stand inside with lots of cupcakes, pies and pastries. Oh, and it's a grocery store too! Free parking underground with any purchase at the store.

  The layout is good, aisles aren't too tight and the displays are always well organized. Staff are friendly, helpful and seem to genuinely care about their work and the customers. Access is good, and the cart escalator thing is pretty useful, no waiting for elevators.
